About Suzanne Douglas Harris
Suzanne Douglas Harris brings a distinctive blend of expertise, solid experience, and personal empathy to her practice. Maintaining a real world perspective based on a comprehensive background of corporate, consulting and academic experience, Ms. Harris helps clients discover, hone and communicate their unique skills. Customized need-based solutions, proficiency with assessment tools, and a history of gaining the confidence and trust of individuals are key elements of her personal and professional development practice.

A multi-cultural personal background adds to an ability to read situations and help clients become aware of and practice picking up on nuances. A professional background which includes management and P & L responsibility in both large and privately held smaller companies provides the foundation for understanding client issues.

Prior to beginning her practice as an Executive Coach, Suzanne Douglas Harris was an Executive Recruiter at HarrisHeery & Associates, a firm specializing in marketing positions. In the corporate sector, she was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at the marketing services company SCS; Good Neighbor Direct, Marketing Director for PCA, a management consulting firm and Market Research Manager for the Donnelley Marketing  division of the Fortune 500 company Dun & Bradstreet. In addition, Ms. Harris was an Assistant Professor of Marketing at California State University, Fullerton.

Suzanne earned an MBA with honors from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, is a Certified Adult Transition Coach, Myers Briggs Qualified, and a member of the Association of Career Professionals International, International Coach Federation, and the Adult Career Development Network. She has served on the boards of Mid-Fairfield Hospice and KC Healthcare Communications. Her Power Profiles project is ongoing and continually updated through interviews with accomplished women who have highly successful careers.
